Players are leaving in masses Grepolis due to certain events.

Recent changes to the game made this a total new game that players didn’t signup to 4 months ago
The current censorship on the public forums , not a single InnoGames game had so much censorship by moderators
The competition level is broken as moderators get a unlimited pool of gold (premium coinage) This is very unfair, Unlike INNO other games, gold in grepolis can actually help drastically with your rank, I don’t disagree if some one helps out they deserve a type of payment but its kind of beyond the joke when they spend that gold to acquire 20+ citys. I suppose the option is there for everyone to spend gold but its just not the concept is it. Respect to those players who gain culture of Battle points though.

Rather then being active, there’s the occasionaly person that feels hard done to when they get banned and they don’t get their own way. Or when they realise that although they dodged their global ban originally, it’s about to catch up with them.

First off, how is any of that fishy? It is quite simple, the players you are talking about were permanently banned from a server. With that said in no way does it make sense to allow them to continue to play on the server they were banned from.
Secondly, if you think that the grepo system is corrupt.. how do you not think that the banned players who took another account are not corrupt? The reason for this rule update is to fix loop holes that have been previously exploited by players who get permanently banned from a world and then get another account (in some cases a better account) and jump right back into the same server.
Also, putting a bad taste in everyone’s mouth? Is that a joke? I sure hope it is! It is doing the contrary to your belief. It is reassuring the community that Innogames does indeed take cheating very seriously and believes that there should be no loopholes where players can get banned and exploit the system.
Lastly, if you haven’t already noticed the only people who are complaining about this are the ones who are affected by this rule themselves or are in an alliance that has players who are potentially banned.

Seriously? If you have an issue with an online game it is one thing to vent or offer constructive criticism on how to fix a problem. A solution would give you a lot of credibility.
But dragging another person into this and attempting to discredit him by using his gaming username is incredibly immature. So “Raiders”– step away from your computer for a few minutes and ask yourself if this is really worth the effort you’ve put into it.
Screenshots are easy to make and there’s even a little button at the bottom of this text-box for uploading images. If you are going to make claims about corruption you need to be able to back them up with either screenshots or links.

Can I point out it is 2000 gold in total regardless of number of worlds play, mods don’t get gold per world. No-one gets more than 2000 at all.
Also mods become mods because they want to do something for the community and help. This might seem strange to someone who clearly has no interest in anyone else but themselves.

Recently, I have been banned from playing an on-line game
because I monitor my kid’s use of the internet.
Go figure…
In this day and age, when we constantly hear how cybercrime
is propagating right before our fingertips, it is imperative for a parent to
monitor what their children do on the internet.
However, Innogames’ business practices are geared towards penalizing proper
parent supervision.
My two youngest kids and I play an online game called
Grepolis, created by Innogames. I
started the accounts for them and I monitor their email messages. I have also sent from my children accounts
emails to people writing to them to let them know that the account was being
monitored by a responsible adult.
My youngest is an 11 year old girl with a minor learning
disability. Her teachers have suggested
that we do fun activities that involve learning to follow sequential
steps. As she was interested on the
game, I thought that it was going to be a positive experience for her to play
this game. Throughout the months
playing, she was in need of assistance during the game. As any good parent would do, I offered my
help. However, it seems that it is
against Innogames rules for a father to help his little girl.
As a result of my monitoring activities and my help to my
daughter, I was banned from playing the game for a brief period of time. However, that ban was turned into a permanent
one after talking to a Senior Moderator named “Lord Asriel,” whose robotic
responses appeared to be from a tyrannical bureaucrat. I just tried to explained in a very polite and restrained manner, that it was
imperative for me to monitor my kids use of the internet and to help them when
they need or ask for my help. I have the
correspondence exchanged with him to prove this point.
In summary, Innogames’ rules are against parents monitoring
their children’s account and even against parents assisting their children when
the kids ask for help in some game related activity.

What gives Innogames the right to act with such impunity,
carelessness for Internet safely, and the complete disregard for the basic
parent/child relationship?

I was an ingame moderator for Grepolis and during that time I heard many stories just like this one. There has to be a limit to the number of creative lies people can use to explain away their obvious multi-accounting.
While I have no knowledge of your particular case, there are some generic questions that have to be asked in the majority of cases where this is claimed.
If you are logging in to a game every 5 to 10 minutes, 16 hours a day, do you have time to be a responsible parent?
Do all of your children have to play on every world you play on?
How many times an hour do you need to check up on your children while they are at school? Especially if all the logins are from the same IP indicating they are not playing on school computers.
Do you really allow your children to play computer games into the wee small hours every night?
As I said, this is not necessarily what happened on your account, but they are all common indicators that the story may not be the truth. It is common knowledge that people who stoop to cheating are not above telling lies.
