Over the coming weeks we will unveil it for you on the beta first. We struggled with this aspect of the game mainly because we were not sure how to fit it into the game. It is very simple to put a new feature into a game but it is another matter entirely to have that feature fit seamlessly in. We didn’t want exploration to simply be something that you could pass a few minutes with while wandering from location to location. We wanted it to be something enticing and that our players would be eager to do.</p><p><a

class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4006" title="5" src="http://cegamers.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/51.jpg" alt="" width="499" height="362" /></a></p><p>The map you see to your above is blank and boring now. Once the feature is ready we will populate the map with icons that you can click on to explore. This will involve fights, discoveries and effects. The fights will be like a standard monster fight. The monsters we populate the exploration feature with you will in the most part at least hae met already. Be warned though that once you are out exploring in the wilds you will hae a good possibility of meeting monsters above your characters level that you won’t be able to deal with easily. Some of the monsters here will be different and unique however and the only place to encounter them is during exploration. The map represents a small area, in this case in Pinnath’Carag, around your characters current position. They can select from a number of locations to explore and the further they progress the more locations open. If the character can get through the entire map before it expires they will get a special reward!</p><p>So I am not going to reveal our entire feature now… you will have to wait a little longer for that! However I will tell you that we have added about two quests per land that depend entirely on exploration. Some of these we hae termed hunts where you will be going to tackle a specific monster that is marauding in the landscape. Others are more light in nature such as the “<em>search for the seven dwarves</em>“</p><p><strong>Update</strong></p><p><strong><a

Each of the lands will have their own map.</p><p>The icons on them will be unique too. A common set for each land wouldn’t be distinctive enough.</p><p>While you will see the same or similar forests all over the seven different lands each area will most definitely have its own areas to explore..</p><p><a

Who knows what lies within it depths! We should be ready to test the feature today or tomorrow depending on getting everything correct. One of the bigger difficulties is having everything configurable and making sure that the combinations all work together. We are tying a lot of features into exploration, a lot of which you won’t have heard of yet. So making sure that these fit seamlessly together is a priority. One of the things being introduced is character effects. This took a long time coming. In fact, I’ve been bugging the team about item balance a whole year now and finally, a few weeks ago, they broke in and let me redo the items. Let me take you on a tour of what has changed and why I felt it needed changing.</p><p>The thing most players will notice first is that damage levels have increased across the board, especially at higher levels. The reason for this is pretty simple: When reviewing PvP fights, I noticed a lot of them ended after 42 rounds, often with both characters still having half of their hit points. That’s a very anti-climactic way to end a fight, so it was quite obvious that this needed changing.</p><p>Next up are item enchantments. While magic weapons looked good from day one, other items, shoes, helmets, even shields, kind of got the short stick when it came to magical properties and the results were often underwhelming. Looking at these items, I also realized that we were a bit restrictive in what kind of bonuses they can give. I resolved to fix this by adding new enchantments and generally increasing the strength of the existing ones. Look out for a whole lot of new toys to play with here!</p><p>The final thing that needed addressing were armor resistances. When we put this feature in the game, we were very reluctant because it had the potential to become to dominant in a fight. That’s why almost all of theses items had very low resistances. Now, with some development time dedicated to the item, I finally changed that too. You’ll now be able to find very powerful armors and shields of various resistance types. This gave me some headaches, because, unlike other stats, resistances have a natural ceiling – not much sense to increase resistance beyond 100%, after all. Sharing these few points among armors, shields and rings meant having very low values on each, so this is where I made the greatest change: Rings now give damage absorption, instead of resistance. I’m curious to see what effect this will have on the various tactics out there.</p><p>When I was all done and finished with that, there was only one thing to do for me: Bug my colleagues a bit more about item graphics. Believe it or not, I had the lists for all items up to level 77 already finished a year ago, all that was missing were the graphics and I really felt it was “now or never” to request new graphics. I’m happy and a bit proud, too, to be able to tell you that we finally got those graphics as well.</p><p><a

The system we have simply isn’t used enough and we think thats a waste of the nice artwork we had made. So firstly we are changing the time requirements. At the moment it takes eight hours to complete a crafting session fully. This is divided into eight one hour sections that you can cancel your work after and gain a reward for those hours done. We are going to reduce this to only two hours of work as a total with each of the eight sections divided into fifteen minute ones. This should make it easier to complete and more attractive as we are not changing the awards for this.</p><p><a

If you come back within two hours of having completed the crafting the reward you will earn is doubled. So this feature is really going to pay out if you start using it regularly! If you consider this combined with the shortened time we are increasing the reward by a factor of eight. However the fun doesn’t end there… We are also making the rewards level dependent. So a craft that paid out well when you were level three will still be attractive when you are level ten.</p><p><a

This was done initially because we considered crafting as somethiny a player would do when logging off. So while you slept your character was busy working away… no rest for the wicked. Now we have it so that you can do crafting anywhere at anytime. We think this represents a character picking up odd jobs around the seven lands as he wanders or hangs around the towns.</p><p><a

We want to add some more start recipes which will build an own chain for example: You do a job to get leather after you found one leather you will be able to craft it to “better” leather. This “better” leather can be used to create “much better” leather with “much better” leather you will be able to create an item to use. As you can see with that chain you will be able to find just one leather and craft 4 times. And even though <strong>Open Beta will start on August 2</strong>, with so many new players and all the updates that were considered beneficial by us, the beta testers, I cannot help but feel a little sentimental<strong>…</strong></p><p>A little jump back in time: Dennis, Sarah and I have slayed countless enemies, crossed dystopian environments, visited magnificent cities and bravely climbed down to the deepest, most alien-infested sewers. We fought giant boss monsters and teamed up with groups of other players. Our characters have grown stronger and learned new abilities. When we walk down the streets of Sunshine City, people can admire our shiny armor and our impressive weaponry.</p><p><a

Sarah thinks we are pathetic and exaggerate our one-month absence a bit – she is actually very excited about starting with a new character, getting new features and seeing tons of new players in the game world. But we are bound and determined! We will finish BHO with a series of duels that bring eternal glory to the winner and utter shame to the loser…until Open Beta starts at least  We choose the center of the Shadow Canals<strong> </strong>as our final battleground. As I step out of the teleporter, Dennis is already waiting for me – and makes full use of the advantages of a ranged class. In other words, he throws a rocket in my face. Wretched Heavy Gunner! I try to make up for it and close in on him, but the sneaky bastard runs away and attempts to hide in the tunnels. He even uses his AntiGrav Board to escape (Yes, we finally got some of those. And they are awe-some!!).</p><p><a

My favourite move, the light-guided charger, catapults me right in front of Dennis. With a few slices, I inflict heavy damage and force him to retreat again…but there is no escape. As his character sinks down, Dennis shouts and curses behind his computer and instantly seeks revenge. Seconds after his resurrection, he resumes firing at me. But this time, he cleverly uses the wide space and the boulders in the middle to keep his distance from me. Nuke after nuke rains down on me, and after a dramatic chase, Dennis finishes me with his twin glaive exactly the moment I finally reach him. Our office becomes a madhouse! Dennis jumps up and taunts me cheerfully, I call him a coward. Sarah, who is super busy (with real work stuff) gets visibly irritated, but keeps her cool. Both Dennis and I are eager for the third round. But as we storm towards each other, our connection breaks off and the Closed Beta finally comes to an end – the duel will have to wait until Open Beta. For now, we reminisce about our time in the world of BHO. Each player has following descriptions:</p><ul><li>westid: the id of the player in this world. Identical to the id used in ranking etc.</li><li>name: the name of the player</li><li>flagholdcount: number of rounds that the player was holding the flag</li><li>hitcount: number of hits the player made</li><li>totalcauseddamage: the total amount of damage caused by this player</li><li>takendamage: how much damage the player got</li><li>takenhits: how often the player was hit</li><li>killedby: a player id (westid) of the player who knocked the player out</li><li>finishedhp: how much hitpoints that have been left at the end of the battle</li><li>starthp: hitpoints on start of the battle</li><li>maxhp: the maximum amount of hitpoints the player may have</li><li>townid: the id of the town the player belonged to</li><li>townname: the name of that town at the moment when the battle started</li><li>weaponid: the id of the used weapon</li><li>weaponmaxdmg: the maximum damage the weapon can cause</li><li>weaponmindmg: the minimum damage that the weapon is causing</li><li>posidx: The starting position of the player</li><li>diedwhen: The round the player was knocked out (bugged, fixed with 1.23)</li><li>targetidx: The target of the player when the game started</li></ul><p>A lot of data is already supplied in these arrays, but there’s far more.</p><p><strong>The log</strong></p><p><strong></strong>Each battleresult contains a complete log of the whole battle. This is most likely the most interesting thing for you, as this contains a lot of data (as a side note, this data might be bugged as it has never been used yet anywhere). A part of the log looks like this:</p><blockquote><p>&#8220;log&#8221;:[0,2, 1,1, 2,396,(...)</p></blockquote><p>I inserted whitespaces at each second comma, because each pair of numbers describes what happened. The first number tells us what operation this was, the second number describes the operation. The mere numbers are useless unless we know the codes for the numbers. The codes are supplied with the log. The values are represented in an array called "logtypes":</p><blockquote><p>"logtypes":["ROUNDSTART","CHARTURN","CHARTARGET","CHARHEALTH","CHARONLINE","SHOOTAT","KILLED","HIT","MOVED"]</p></blockquote><p>The array tells us that 0 means “ROUNDSTART”, 1 means “CHARTURN” and so on. The order can change anytime when we change some implementations on our sides, so in case of developing a tool in javascript, I would suggest to figure out the right numbers before analyzing the log.</p><p>This codebook tells us now following information:</p><p>“logtypes”:</p><blockquote><p>&#8220;log&#8221;:[ROUNDSTART,2, CHARTURN,1, CHARTARGET,396, CHARHEALTH,1520, CHARONLINE,1,<br

/> ROUNDSTART,3, &#8230;</p></blockquote><p>So this is more meaningful now and with a bit of description, this is the log, encoded in these number pairs:</p><ol><li>ROUNDSTART,2: The game begins with round 2 (1 is the first round where everyone is choosing their starting position and target position.</li><li>CHARTURN,1: The character with west id 1 is now active</li><li>CHARTARGET,396: The character 1 is trying to go to the cell 396 (which is his starting position, so we’re there already)</li><li>CHARHEALTH,1520: The character 1 has a health of 1520 hitpoints</li><li>CHARONLINE,1: The player for character 1 was online during this round</li><li>CHARTURN,60: It is now the turn of player with id 60</li><li>CHARTARGET,356: The character 60 wants to go to cell 356</li><li>CHARHEALTH,260: The character 60 has 260 hitpoints</li><li>CHARONLINE,0: The player of character 60 was not online</li><li>MOVED,594: Character 60 moves to cell 594</li><li>ROUNDSTART,3: Round 2 has ended, round 3 begins</li></ol><p>This pattern repeats all over the place and we can reconstruct the whole battle for each player. We do even know who was online and who was not online! The keys “SHOOTAT”,”KILLED” and “HIT” describe further actions:</p><ul><li>SHOOTAT: the id of the player that this character is shooting at</li><li>KILLED: if the shot was knocking the player out, this key is used. The value represents the damage that was caused the player to be knocked out. Can be larger than the player’s hitpoints</li><li>HIT: if the shot was a hit, the damage is described with the value</li></ul><p>If no hit was made, the SHOOTAT value exists but without a following HIT / KILLED actions.</p><p><strong>The map description</strong></p><p><strong></strong>The map description is also supplied here. It could be used for replaying the whole map visually. The first thing to know is how a x,y coordinate is represented in the map – since we know the width and height of the map, we can recalculate a pair of numbers to a single number and back with this small function:</p><blockquote><p>// javascript code<br

The width and height of the map is supplied by the map description as well with the keys “width” and “height”.</p><p>Furthermore, we have various arrays now: “tiles”, “cells” and “sectors”. The “mapname” parameter is currently not really used, it still has the name “test” on the productive worlds, something that I didn’t know about yet – as it’s nowhere used right now.</p><p><strong>The tiles</strong></p><p>The tiles are simple arrays of arrays containing each 6 numbers, describing the visual layout with out tileobject:</p><ul><li>The x coordinate on the tile texture</li><li>The y coordinate on the tile texture</li><li>The x size of the tile</li><li>The y size of the tile</li><li>The x coordinate on the map where the tile is being drawn (left side of the tile)</li><li>The y coordinate on the map where the tile is being drawn (top side of the tile)<ul><li>height: The height of this sector</li><li>attackerbonus / defenderbonus: What bonus the sector provides</li><li>defenderspawn / attackerspawn: A boolean value that tells us if players can spawn here</li><li>flag: True if this is a flag sector</li></ul></li></ul><p>This information allows us to draw the hole map using the tile texture. It contains only eyecandy information – nothing else.</p><p><strong>The sectors</strong></p><p>That array describes the attributes of each sector that is present on the map. Following attributes are available:</p><p>There will be further values if there’s a bonus for a certain playerclass, but I think that the whole sector description is pretty self explanatory.</p><p><strong>The cells</strong></p><p>The most important description for the game is the layout of the sectors. The sectors can have any kind of form, so what we do is, we define for each cell on the map what sector it belongs – it refers here to an index in the sector array. The array called “cells” describes now for each cell, starting from top left the sector for each cell, left to right, top to bottom (just like reading letters in a book). For example:</p><blockquote><p>&#8220;cells&#8221;:[0,0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2 &#8230;</p></blockquote><p>What we see here is, that the cell located at x=0 and y=0 is described with the attributes given by the sector description at index 0 of the sector array. The same attributes are used for x=1,y=0 and x=2,y=0 and x=3,y=0. The next sector starts at x=4,y=0. Every cell that refers to the same sector id belongs to the same sector (of course…). From the game logic we know that if a sector is taken by a team, the other team can’t enter that sector. So in theory, there could be sectors that are disjunct – which means that a sector could be split. However, this should not be the case.</p><p><strong>That’s it!</strong></p><p><strong></strong>So that’s everything that is needed to know if you really want to analyze the logs of a battle yourself. How can you get now the data? Well, there are several ways – for example taking the text from the ajax call using firebug. At least there are the quest properties on the right side to modify it.</p><p>So you’ll see that we have a lot of things to do and its quite not easy to manage them at all.</p><p>Of course we have a lot of ideas and want to introduce them or improving existing features, but often we have to maintain the backend so that we are able to provide capacity to implement them.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></blockquote><p><a

The cooldown of all useable products will be reduced to 10 minutes (written before)</p><p>2. We will reduce the difficult of the starting recipes that means you will need less products to craft the start items until a skill value of 100</p><p>3. We want to add some more start recipes which will build an own chain for example: You do a job to get leather after you found one leather you will be able to craft it to “better” leather. This “better” leather can be used to create “much better” leather with “much better” leather you will be able to create an item to use. As you can see with that chain you will be able to find just one leather and craft 4 times. We also have five Tribal Wars T-shirts to give away as prizes, too.</p><p><strong>How does this work?</strong><br
/> Every weekend, one championship round will be played, where you can collect &#8220;championship points&#8221; for a variety of different objectives during the round.</p><p>At the end of each championship round, your championship points will be added to your total score for the tournament.</p><p>Once all of the rounds have been played, prizes will be given to the winners of the tournament, and the overall champion will also receive the special forum title of &#8220;<strong>Speed Champion 2011</strong>&#8221; to show off their achievement.</p><p><strong>Objectives</strong></p><p>During the tournament, you gain championship points for achieving a variety of objectives, which will go towards your overall championship score. Some objectives are easier to achieve than others.</p><p>You can gain championship points by simply surviving the round and ending it with a single village no matter how small.</p><p>Or you can aim for the top and gain points for being a highly-ranked player at the end of the round.</p><p><strong>Prizes</strong></p><p>In addition to the regular round prizes, at the end of the championship tournament the following prizes will be given to the overall tournament winners:</p><ul><li><strong>1st place</strong> &#8211; 2000 premium points AND a Tribal Wars T-shirt AND forum title &#8220;Speed Champion 2011&#8243;.</li><li><strong>2nd place</strong> &#8211; 1200 premium points AND a Tribal Wars T-shirt.</li><li><strong>3rd place</strong> &#8211; 600 premium points AND a Tribal Wars T-shirt.</li><li><strong>4th place</strong> &#8211; 400 premium points AND a Tribal Wars T-shirt.</li><li><strong>5th place</strong> &#8211; 200 premium points AND a Tribal Wars T-shirt.</li><li><strong>PLUS!</strong> All players who participated in at least 6 of the 12 rounds will be entered into a prize draw, where five further lucky winners will receive 200 premium points each.</li></ul><p>* Anyone caught breaking the rules during any tournament round may be disqualified from the entire tournament. As a tribe, you can create army camps in any empty space on the map to use as a base camp near your enemies for upcoming attacks. When the camp is attacked, you will automatically defend it side by side with your tribemates. So as a team you can use these mighty forts to bring victory to your tribe.</p><p>Besides this, you can gain achievements on your own. From now on, we will give you awards for several different achievements, which you can show off to other players in your personal profile. This may be a certain number of points or a great battle victory. Sometimes, you may even get an award if you were extremely lucky – or unlucky. It does not matter in which period of the game you play, you will always have the chance to gain awards.</p><p>Furthermore, we have a special addition for premium account users: You can now play Tribal Wars on your mobile phone with an improved user interface. This works on iPhones and mobile phones running Android. All you have to do is to start your mobile browser and visit the Tribal Wars page – as you will see, the whole design has been adjusted for mobile browsing. /> Offense per farm space	6</p><p>BEST OVERALL DEFENSE</p><p>As we can see, Swordsman has the highest defense per farm space of 52, so defensive force of only Swordsmen would have highest overall value. However, it would certainly be weak against sharp weapons (hoplites)</p><p>Second best defensive unit is Archer, with 42 defensive points per farm space. With Sharp Defense value of Archer being the highest, we can see that it combines well with Swordsman. Their combined defense would be 20/33/42 (Blunt/Sharp/Distance) per 2 farm spaces. As we can see, it would be weak against Blunt Weapons.</p><p>Chariot is the third best defensive units if we look at defense per farm space (37 in this case). It also has the best defense against Blunt weapons, and is perfect in combination with Swords/Archers. It&#8217;s good to notice that instead of 1 Chariot you can have 4 Hoplites with combined Defense Blunt of 72, which is just little short of Chariot&#8217;s 76.</p><p>This part needs re-evaluation, see Snowman8&#8242;s post:<br
/> Combined defense of Sword/Archer/Chariot mix would be 39/37/56 per 3 farm spaces, or 108/99/122 (total of 329) for 1 Sword/3 Archer/1 Chariot. This can be replaced with a build of 1 Sword/3 Archer/4 Hoplites which would give 104/131/94 (total of 329) defense distribution.</p><p>Possible corrections would have to be made for different kinds of opponent&#8217;s offensive builds.</p><p>Still, it is clear that possible defensive builds will consist of either Swords, Archers, Hoplites or Swords, Archers, Chariots. It is important to notice that Chariots move 3 times faster than Hoplites, so will be suited for fast support. This is in many ways similar to TW defensive builds where usually Swords are replaced by Heavy Cavalry.</p><p>Let&#8217;s compare the mentioned builds in terms of resources used, and time to build. Again, this is done for lvl 5 barracks. Higher lvls will just scale the time, but the ratio will remain the same.</p><p>1) 1 Sword/3 Archers/1 Chariot</p><p>Time to build: 0:17:10/0:54:21/1:31:35, in total 2:43:06<br
/> Resources to build: 655/440/630</p><p>2) 1 Sword/3 Archers/4 Hoplites</p><p>Time to build: 0:17:10/0:54:21/1:27:44, in total 2:39:15<br
/> Resource to build: 455/300/910</p><p>As we can see, 2) builds faster, but has (very) uneven resources.</p><p>If you have other possible builds that you would like to see presented here, just post them in the thread, and I&#8217;ll check build times, and resources needed to train them, and possible their defensive values.</p><p>BEST OVERALL OFFENSE</p><p>When talking about possible offensive force, we can see that that Horseman has highest offense per farm space of 20 (Blunt), followed by Slinger (Distance) with offense per farm space of 19, and Hoplite (Sharp) with offense of 16.<br
/> Obviously, army consisting of only Horseman would have highest possible overall offense, but could be easily countered with Chariot. A mix of these 3 units presents the best overall offensive force. The overall offensive power of this army would be 20/19/16 per 3 farm spaces. If we were to aim for best all round attacking force, we see that the desired ratio would be 1.25/1.2/1 (Horseman/Slinger/Hoplite) per 3 farm spaces, or speaking in terms on how many units we need to build, ratio would be 1,25 Horsemen/3,6 Slingers/3 Hoplites. Or 13/36/30, so we don&#8217;t cut our horses into little parts</p><p>Obviously catapults will be integral part of any decent offensive force, the only question is how many catapults will be needed to tear down walls from its max value to 0. Once we know that number we can start integrating the catapult numbers in our troops ratio.</p><p>Things to do:<br

/> Basic Beginners Guide to building your settlement<br
/> okay, this is from my point of view when you start even though i haven’t had much to read in the beginning from wiki but i basically used my previous gaming instinct and so far so good, talking about the building side here.</p><p><strong>Beginning your settlement</strong><br
/> ==================<br
/> you start up with 6 swords and a no clue what to do or what to build but of you have played before similar games you will get the hint of it, but again every game has its requirements for building materials.<br
/> here in the beginning you need to focus on<br
/> -Wood<br
/> -Farm<br
/> -Warehouse<br
/> -Senate<br
/> -silver<br
/> -Rock<br
/> -Barrack<br
/> -Wall</p><p>I have placed them in accordance of priority, with some players it will vary but for a beginning that is what you need. Your settlement will require wood heavily in the first stages after that you will need to upgrade your farm to have more settlers to fill in gaps. You will notice that each island has a (+) and (-) for resource bonuses, which you can easily find when you hover your mouse over each resource symbol you will find it there, this indicates what you should expect to get more when farming Neutral villages or (NPC) and also it indicates to you which resource level you should upgrade more than the other.<br
/> Right now you need to level up your village to a state where you get least a not too bad income from resources, so this is how your village suggested to look like when you reach;</p><p><strong>Up to 500 points</strong><br
/> ============<br
/> Wood = level 10<br
/> Rock = level 8<br
/> Silver = level 9<br
/> Farm = level 5<br
/> Senate = level 7<br
/> Barrack = level 2<br
/> City wall = level 1</p><p><strong>Farming and Expanding your settlement</strong><br
/> ==============================<br
/> By now you should have a basic income of resources as well as a stage one settlement which upon you will be able to upgrade further and expand more buildings. Now comes the important issue you will face which is (Farming).<br
/> Apparently in the beginning you have no clue who to farm and you think you will find barbs and abandoned villas to farm, but here no. Inno games have developed a new approach towards the farming system to attempt and give a more or less realistic War sim game from which you will need to adapt yourself.<br
/> Now back to farming, as you see that you have few villas around you that I will call it (Neutral) because they do not belong to anyone and second you can not occupy it, they are there only to be farmed and Trade with when needed also it gives a possible offensive form if the Mood here changes, and that is another subject we will talk about later.</p><p>You start with your few swords and in the beginning you need more resources so you have to spend your resources on getting troops so you could do few important things here with troops.<br
/> 1-maintaining the strength of the farming villas you are farming because the lower the strength the less resources you are likely to get depending on how many troops you send but an average 20 swords will lower the strength by (-4%) every time you attack, also the mood will change which you need to be careful never to attack if it is lower than 50% unless you have good offensive force because the neutral villas will attack back as defence.<br
/> 2-Obtaining resources to upgrade your buildings further and build nor troops</p><p>Once you have gained 20 swords, you have 2 options<br
/> 1-to split your forces into 2 groups of 10 each one will attack to strength the villa and the second one will attack to obtain resources so you are not wasting time on sending all of them to raise then back again to loot. The bugger part here is that another player might be already looting while you are raising strength so it is a 50:50 chance it happens, but you have to take risks if you need to get higher. or? but of course the more troops the better the percentage you will raise the strength with and also the more loot you will get but beware of the MOOD. keep an eye on it not to drop below a lower level like 50% or you face a greater chance to be attacked by the villagers.<br
/> 2-Second option is to send your whole force and loot then send again and power up but it is also not always good depending on other players farming with you the same one.<br
/> A good hint here is to let your opponent if he is a Noob to loot till it is low and he will eventually loose troops and you have him trapped between he is low on troops and the farm belongs back to you to farm</p><p><strong>500 to 600 points settlement</strong><br
/> ====================<br
/> Wood = level 12<br
/> Rock = level 10<br
/> Silver = level 12<br
/> Farm = level 8<br
/> Senate = level 9<br
/> Barrack = level 3<br
/> City wall = level 2<br
/> warehouse = level 5</p><p>continue to build troops and farm as much as you can just remember that silver is needed heavily to buy troops.</p><p><strong>600 to 700 points settlement</strong><br

/> Rock = level 11<br
/> Silver = level 13<br
/> Farm = level 8<br
/> Senate = level 9<br
/> Barrack = level 5<br
/> City wall = level 2<br
/> warehouse = level 5<br
/> Academy = level 1</p><p>once you reach to that level you will have started to get a hint of the game and how to build and farm effectively but of course this is not all, there will be more to come once you reach 1000 points you will start to encounter more options and research options&#8230; but until then this guide should be a good basic to get you starting .</p><p>Hope this guide helps a bit and the more i get from this game the more i will share, so far there are loads of questions but we will get the hang of it sooner or later&#8230; trial by errors )</p><p>One more thing to add&#8230; like all war games you will get to choose a path<br
/> 1-defensive with a mixed starting villa of both defensive and offensive with more def than off<br
/> 2-offensive with more off than def for those who want blood shed</p><p>each of them choices will have a certain approach towards building and upgrades as well as research<br
/> whatever you choose it all depends on your position on the island and neighbouring islands<br
/> some players will say no wall before this or that before this, well like i said it depends on your position, if you are in the middle of the hot zone then you need to be ready to at least show them that you are not an easy target and if they get once resources from you they will always come back for you and it might cause you sleepless nights<br
