I have not seen him yet. where do you get him or how do you get him?

Help! My baby Bunyan has gone M.I.A. I had him to the next level of growth after the feeding of super milk. Now he is not on my homestead. What the heck is going on with Pioneer Trail? Why are we constantly having critters, buildings and so on coming up M.I.A.? Why are we constantly having to redo missions that we have already completed? Why are we constantly getting the “lost blasted internet connection lets try us some refresh”?  Why is it taking over a minute for the game app to load or to lock up when someone comes to your homestead? I am constantly clearing out my cache before even trying to go into the game app. Frustrated and about ready to just quit playing the game all together with even thou I like the game.
